Qoh, the aged priest, and Rham, the stoic warrior have come to a turning point. The time has come for the two men to part ways. One walks a questionable path straight into the heart of the Shadow city of Ziseryll, while the other is released - free to determine his own path.

Deep in the stone and earth not far from the site that was once Thsoling, elementals gathered. No light or air permeates the strata, but the senses of the assembled beings recognized each other well.

"We, Resonant Roar, have called."

"And we have come," the elementals replied.

"What has been witnessed? What is of import to all the Silent Quartz?"

Thsoling Saga 06 - Stepping Into Shadow

Kaphiri provided the two with a well appointed suite. Qoh immediately retired for a short nap before dinner while Rham spent his time on the balcony. The warrior sat and brooded as he stared at the multitude of greens that stretched as far as the eye could see. Haa was a sizable freehold, he could walk the breadth of the cavern in just under an hour, but he missed the endless vistas of Avis Abeh.

"You should get some good sleep too," Qoh commented from the door.

Rham smirked even though the aging priest couldn't see his face. "And have you accusing me of getting old, father?"
